Three Rochester residents have been indicted by a Monroe County grand jury on kidnapping and other charges, accused of holding a pregnant woman against her will in a house on Santee Street.
Jilliane Mencel, her husband Joshua Mencel and William Geer all lived with the victim and her two-year-old child in the Santee Street house. Police say the Mencels and Geer forced the victim into a locked room with alarms on the door when she became pregnant in order to control the two-year-old.
Geer is the father of that child and the unborn child. His lawyer says he was being manipulated by the Mencels.
All three defendants have been remanded to the Monroe County Jail on high bail.
