Greece police and Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley say three people have been indicted in connection with the January abduction of two foster children in the town.
Charged in a 19-count indictment were the children’s biological father, Dimitri Cash, Kimara Pluviose, and newly-named suspect Joenathan Cash, who is Dimitri Cash’s cousin. All three were arraigned on Monday.
In a news conference, DA Doorley said Dimitri Cash planned the kidnapping but did not set foot in the house when the children were kidapped in their pajamas. He’s charged with first degree kidnapping and other charges. Pluviose and Joenathan Cash are charged with second degree kidnapping and other charges.
Greece Police Chief Drew Forsythe says Pluviose and Joenathan Cash actually went into the home, tied up the foster mother and took the children.
Three-year-old Shekeria Cash and five-year-old Dimitri Cash Jr. were taken on January 18th. They were found 48 hours later in Alabama.
