Three people have been arrested in connection with a September homicide in Rochester.
20-year-old Tymir Thomas was shot and killed on Handy Street. Police have arrested 29-year-old Tyron Byant and 18-year-old Diamonte Scott for the Thomas murder. The third suspect, 17-year-old Anttwan Brown, was already in jail after another incident involving criminal possession of an illegal gun.
All three are charged with second degree murder.
Diamonte Scott also faces separate charges for another shooting a month ago on Diringer place. Police say he shot and seriously injured two people inside a home and is charged with two counts of assault for that crime.
Police say at the time of both shootings, Scott was released from custody after being indicted in May for criminal possession of a weapon.
