Three Rochester residents were arrested early Tuesday morning on charges of obstructing governmental administration.
Police say they received a call for reckless driving on Dewey Avenue and located the vehicle in a gas station at Dewey and Lexington. The same vehicle was the subject of a menacing with a weapon complaint.
As officers were investigating, the occupants of the vehicle began pushing the officers and other people, and a large crowed gathered.
A 22-year-old city man and two 17-year-old girls were arrested. One of those arrested spit into an officer.s face. He was checked out at the hospital and released.
The investigation is continuing.
