A third woman has told the New York Times that Governor Andrew Cuomo made unwanted advances on her during a friend’s wedding.

The times says Anna Ruch met the governor at a friend’s wedding in September, 2019. She told the times he placed his hand on her bare back, then called her “aggressive” when she removed his hand. She says he also placed his hands on her cheeks, which was backed up by a cellphone photo, and asked to kiss her.

Increasing numbers of Republican and Democratic lawmakers are calling for the governor to resign after this third allegation surfaced. The governor has referred the issue to the State Attorney General who will conduct an investigation.
