Testimony continued Friday in the University of Rochester kidnapping trial. A dozen police officers and investigators took the stand and testified that at least three of the four defendants were present in a house on Harvest Street while the two kidnapped students were being held and tortured.

This was the first time testimony directly put defendants David Alcaraz-Ubiles and Lydell Strickland in the house where the torture took place. Alcaraz-Ubiles’ attorney, Frances Ciardi, says his client has never denied being there, but he does deny taking part in robbing and abusing the two UR students.

Prosecutor Matthew Schwarz says he’s laying out the evidence a piece at a time and will ask the jury for a “guilty” verdict.
