Two of three teenagers charged with attempting to rob a woman at knifepoint in Gates on Tuesday have been accused in other crimes.
The three are in youth detention, charged with first-degree attempted burglary and first degree attempted robbery for attempting to rob the woman at her home. Two of the teens are 14 and one is 17.
They’re accused of stealing the pickup truck they drove to that robbery attempt, and then crashed while fleeing from State Police. They stole that truck Monday night in Henrietta. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has charged the 17-year-old and one of the younger teens with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny for stealing the truck.
