The bod
y of a 17-year-old has been found in the Erie Canal near Gaines Basin Road in Orleans County.
The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office says the body was spotted Monday and recovered by the sheriff’s marine unit and Albion firefighters. He was identified as Raymond Kingdollar of Barre. His body was taken to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who might have information about what happened to call them.
