RPD-Police Car 2Rochester Police say they’re no longer looking for additional suspects in last week’s Durand Eastman Park incident…after making an arrest in the case this afternoon.

Police and U.S. Marshals took a 15-year-old boy into custody on Cameron Street off Lyell Avenue today. He was spotted on Cameron and ran into a house, but agreed to surrender after half-an-hour. He’s been charged with first degree reckless endangerment and possession of stolen property.

The boy’s name is being withheld because of his age and his case will be handled in family court.

The incident a week ago began when police spotted a yellow Hummer in the park that was thought to be connected with a burglary in Greece. The suspects fled and at some point shots were fired in the park before a Mercedes was stolen from the Durand Eastman golf course.  Both vehicles were recovered.
