A 16-year-old suspect wanted in a carjacking attempt that became a murder in Gates turned himself in to police Friday morning, accompanied by his mother.
Anthony Jacobs is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Richard Sciascia on April 7th. Siascia was fatally shot during an attempted carjacking on Buell Road near the airport. Jacobs was arraigned Friday afternoon and entered a not guilty plea.
Last week, 16-year-old Edgar Tolentino was arrested on the same charge for the crime. He’s currently being held without bail.
