Rochester police say a teenager walked into Strong Memorial Hospital about 9:30 Monday night seeking help for a gunshot wound. He’d been shot on Jay Street near Smith Street.
The 17-year-old victim was brought to Strong in a private car and there was no 911 call. He was shot in the lower body and is being treated.
