A Monroe County Grand Jury has indicted a Rochester teenager on charges including attempted second degree murder after he was accused of firing a shot at a police officer.
Sixteen-year-old Ernestiaze Moore was also indicted for criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and drug possession. He pleaded “not guilty” to the charges when he was arrested earlier this month and is being held on $100,000 bail.
The shot he allegedly fired at Officer Kelly Phillips missed, and she gave chase instead of returning fire.
