Ontario County Sheriff SUVA 17-year-old Canandaigua teen has been charged with failing to yield at a stop sign, triggering an accident that sent four people to the hospital.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says Zachary Cleason ran a red light and crashed into the side of an SUV at the corner of State Route 21 and Cramer Road. Cleason and his 16-year-old passenger had to be cut out of the wreck by firefighters. Both were taken to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.

Two young children in the SUV weren’t hurt. The driver and front seat passenger both suffered minor injuries.
