A teenager who was 15 when he committed a string of crimes last summer has been sentenced to a year in a state detention facility.
The teen is now 16. He admitted to driving a stolen Hummer through Durand Eastman Park last July and firing a weapon at police, and also to stealing an ATV in a separate incident in Parma. That theft led to his arrest.
The same teen has been linked with a baseball bat assault on an 83-year-old Chili man in September, but no charges have been filed in that case yet.
