The Rochester teenager accused of shooting at a city police officer has pleaded guilty today to a charge of Second Degree Attempted Murder.
Seventeen-year-old Ernestiaze Moore admitted to shooting at Rochester Police Officer Kelly Phillips back in February.
Authorities say Moore aimed at Officer Phillips with a semi-automatic handgun and fired a shot from about ten feet away, which missed. Instead of shooting back, Phillips ran the teenager down and arrested him.
Moore is facing 20 years in prison and five years post release supervision after he is sentenced.
