A Brockport kindergarten teacher has been charged with child pornography.
Federal prosecutors say 30-year-old Richard Yockel II of Hilton has been charged with receipt of child pornography after a search of his North Avenue home turned up numerous DVDs with videos and explicit images of children.
Yockel was arrested as a result of an international investigation by U.S. and New Zealand authorities into an internet app called “Chatstep.” They found people using it to exchange child porn, and determined one of the users was Yockel.
Yockel lived in his parents basement in a home where his parents ran a daycare service, so authorities are asking if there are any additional victims.
