The third and fourth installments of Monroe County town and county property taxes have been extended to May 31.
County Executive Adam Bello says you can’t pay taxes in person through May 31. They’ll have to be paid by mail or at the drop box at the County Office Building. They can also be paid online via the county web site.
Although the deadline has been extended, the county still had to send out the state-required late notices to property owners who have’t paid yet. You can ignore the warning and pay without penalties as long as you do it by May 31.
