Wegmans opens its newest store this weekend, in Owings Mills, Maryland, not far from Baltimore. Another opens November 6th in Charlottesville, Virginia. Wegmans has posted plans for eight more stores in the near future. The company’s footprint now stretches from Virginia to Massachusetts and it’s working on possible sites in North Carolina.
Wegmans is issuing a recall for nine ounce packages of its Wegmans Italian Classics Striped Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli. The company says the product may contain pieces of white plastic. Someone in Rochester has a Lotto ticket worth more than $42,500. The New York Lottery says the ticket for Saturday night’s drawing was sold at the Latta Road Wegmans in Greece. They’re looking for the winner to come forward. The winner matched five of six numbers plus the bonus number for a second prize.
