A Harris Poll on “corporate reputation” ranks Wegmans Number Two in the nation. The poll asked people to rank well-known companies on factors including social responsibility, emotional appeal, products and services, vision and leadership. Colleen Wegman says the family-owned grocery chain ranks high because 47,000 employees give their best every day.
Wegmans has recalled some packages of its 5-Grain Wild Rice and Mushroom Stuffing because it may contain peanuts, an allergen not listed on the label.
