New York Ends Religious Exemption for Childhood Vaccinations
Governor Cuomo has signed legislation eliminating New York’s religious exemption for child vaccinations. The state Assembly and Senate quickly passed the legislation in response to the downstate measles outbreak, driven by a large number of unvaccinated children in several Orthodox Jewish communities.
