As Lake Ontario water levels continue to drop, restrictions on boaters are being eased on Sodus Bay in Wayne County. But Sheriff Barry Virts is asking boaters to please go with voluntary speed restrictions within 500 feet of shore:
Wayne County authorities have declared a special state of emergency governing boaters because of unusually high water levels on Lake Ontario.
