Rochester Police are investigating after a man’s body was discovered this morning on Newell Alley, near Scio Street not far from downtown Rochester. Police have identified the dead man as 33-year-old Christopher Smith of Rochester. He  was found about 7:00 a.m. He had suffered injuries which they haven’t specified.
