Rochester police are investigating a shooting that apparently happened on Hudson Avenue. The victim was a 23-year-old man who was shot in the upper body. Police found him on Avenue D, but determined he’d been shot somewhere else. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and his injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Rochester Police say a man is recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital after being shot Saturday night on Jefferson Avenue near the corner of Bartlett Street. The 54-year-old city man was shot multiple times in the lower body, but none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. Police have no arrests at this time.
