Rochester firefighters responded when neighbors saw smoke pouring out of a house at 471 Bernard Street this morning. They declared a working fire in the two-and-a-half story house. It was occupied, but apparently nobody was hurt.

Fire broke out shortly after 6:00 this morning in an apartment at 316 Hayward Avenue. The Rochester Fire Department says nobody was home when the fire started.
