Rochester police responding to reports of gunfire found the body of a 26-year-old Rochester woman on the city’s northeast side Thursday night. Police say the found the woman at about 7:30, inside a home in the 200 block of 4th Street. They say Shaniece Taylor died of an apparent gunshot wound. The investigation is continuing.
Rochester Police are investigating after a man was shot Thursday afternoon near the corner of North and St. Stanislaus Streets. Police say they went to the area after shots were fired and found the victim, who was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. No arrest has been made so far.
