Congressman Joe Morelle tweets that his bill to rename the Fairport Post Office in honor of his predecessor, the late Louise Slaughter and her husband, has been approved by both the House and Senate. Morelle says it’s a privilege to honor a woman whose “immeasurable contributions have truly made our community better.”
