City Gets Brownfield Cleanup Funds

The City of Rochester has been awarded $200,000 in federal brownfields funding to be used in cleaning up environmental contamination at former industrial sites so they can be redeveloped. Mayor Warren’s office hasn’t specified where the EPA money will be used. It goes into the city’s Brownfields Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund.
