A Newark man has been charged with driving while high on drugs after a Livingston County deputy saw him looking into the windows of a home on Routes 5 & 20.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Felix Fantauzzi then drove down the street and stopped at an abandoned house. At that point, the deputy stopped Fantauzzi and questioned him, then called the STOP DWI unit to the scene. Fantauzzi was arrested for DWAI drugs, and a search of the car turned up 10 hypodermic needles.
Fantauzzi was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation because his license had been revoked. He’s being held on $2,500 bail.
