The man accused of attacking the Wyoming County Sheriff last week was uncooperative in court yesterday (Thu). A “not guilty” plea was entered on his behalf.

Lynn Hall refused to respond to the judge or to his public defender as he was arraigned on charges including attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. The 48-year-old man is accused of jumping Sheriff Gregory Rudolph armed with a knife after getting him to stop his car in Attica.

Bail was set at $500,000 and the judge ordered a mental health evaluation. His next court appearance will be February 7th.
