The defendant charged in a murder and burglary case in Greece has pleaded not guilty.
Omar Quarles was indicted last week on two counts of second degree murder, burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief. He was arraigned Tuesday morning.
Greece Police were called to a house on Maiden Lane October 8th to check on the welfare of 86-year-old Charles Fields, who was found semi-conscious in his home. He later died from a head injury.
Quarles was reportedly a family friend of Fields.
