SUNY Schools will require all on-campus students to receive the COVID-19 vaccination before reporting to school this fall. Governor Andrew Cuomo made that announcement during a news conference on Monday.
Cuomo said he’s encouraging private colleges and universities to do the same.
The governor also said that vaccine clinics across the state will now waive the requirement that people be New York residents in order to get the shot. Cuomo also said starting next Monday, outdoor gatherings will increase to 500 people.
