Irondequoit police say they have charged a 9th grader with making the bomb threat that forced evacuation of Eastridge High School last Friday.

They say the student wrote the threat on a wall, leading officials to evacuate the building and hold students in buses at a nearby shopping center while the building was searched. The student has been charged with first degree falsely reporting an incident and making a false written statement. The case will be heard in Family Court.

East Irondequoit School District officials also say the student will face disciplinary action.
