We’re out from under the big storm. Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has lifted the county’s travel advisory as of 5:00 Thursday morning, giving plows overnight to clear the roads.

Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren said it would be all-hands-on-deck through the night to have main and side streets in decent shape by rush hour Thursday.

Governor Cuomo has allowed tractor-trailers back on the Thruway…and with the snow over, crews are making  substantial progress clearing roads and sidewalks area-wide.

Blowing and drifting snow remains a problem.

We had more than 26 inches of snow at the Greater Rochester International Airport.

Kids will be heading back to school Thursday. School districts are working out plans to cover having four days off in a week because of two different major storms.

Meanwhile, Rochester Gas and Electric has about 80 customers still waiting to have power restored after last week’s windstorm.
