All Monroe County police agencies are taking part in a statewide anti-DWI crackdown for the Independence Day weekend.
County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo says it starts today and ends Tuesday. Extra patrols will be on key highways, DWI checkpoints will be set up and officers will be watching for texting while driving as well as signs someone might be intoxicated.
