Monday, September 27, is deadline day under the New York State mandate that all health care workers be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Strong Memorial Hospital says in a statement that 97.5 percent of its clinical employees remained eligible to continue working as the mandate takes effect.
- 95.5 percent of clinical staff at Strong have received at least one dose of vaccine, up from 92 percent reported last Thursday.
- An additional 2 percent of clinical staff have received approved religious or medical exemptions, meaning they can continue working with the accommodation of weekly testing, along with daily symptom checks and PPE requirements followed by all clinical employees.
