New COVID-19 guidance from New York State says summer camps may reopen, with some new rules in place this summer.

The state says camp operators must collect vaccination records from campers and staff, and unvaccinated people must maintain six-foot social distancing. Campers will also have to test negative for COVID 72 hours before coming to camp and will have daily temperature checks.

Masks will be required in some settings but not all.
