New York State Police have charged a Canandaigua woman with grand larceny after finding she embezzled more than $2.1 million from her employer in the City of Rochester
Troopers say 50-year-old Sarah Fantauzzi was arraigned Wednesday morning after being taken to the Monroe County Jail. She allegedly manipulated the financial systems of R.E.S. Exhibit Services to steal the money while working as their executive vice president of human resources.
Court paperwork shows she fell under suspicion after leaving the company in 2019, when tax preparers found her earnings were more than they should have been.
