The State Attorney General’s Office is continuing a crackdown against home improvement fraud, this time filing for a permanent injunction to shut down Dynabuild Construction Group.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman charges George Frisch of Dynabuild with “repeatedly and persistently” defrauding Rochester-area customers by collecting either full or partial payments upfront, then either failing to do the work or doing a shoddy job. Customers who demanded refunds didn’t get them.
The A.G. says Frisch took some $70,000 of his customers’ money and spent it on a $30,000 swimming pool and vacation trips. Schneiderman says he’s seeking full repayment plus $58,000 in penalties and costs, and he wants an injunction to bar Frisch from running another home improvement business in New York.
