Governor Cuomo’s Office says up to $5 million is being made available in grants for small businesses that have suffered damage or losses because of this spring’s Lake Ontario flooding.
Small businesses can get up to $20,000 for repair or replacement of real property that’s been damaged or destroyed, including equipment, furniture and inventory. Empire State Development will handle the applications beginning in June.
Any lakeshore business in Monroe, Wayne or the other counties covered under Governor Cuomo’s emergency order are eligible to apply.
