Governor Andrew Cuomo says the New York State Fair will run at 100 percent capacity thanks to significant progress made against the coronavirus.

The original plan was for 50 percent occupancy of the fairgrounds.

Most popular buildings at the fair will reopen for the 18-day event August 20 to September 6 in Syracuse. Indoor spaces will still have capacity limits to allow for social distancing, but those requirements will be dropped outside.
