Governor Cuomo says the New York State Fair broke its total attendance record for the fourth year in a row, hours before its 13-day run ended at the close of Labor Day.
The record of 1,279,010 visitors was broken at 11:30 Monday when the Williams family of Lakeland, New York passed through the gates.
The governor also announced that tourism, including the fair, generated $114.8 billion dollars in economic impact for the state this year.
