The AAA says Easter approaching has brought spring road trips, sending gasoline demand up again, and with it gas prices. The Auto Club says the more expensive summer-blend gasoline is starting to arrive as well.

Over the past week, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline has risen four cents to $2.33 a gallon, and the New York State average is up one penny at $2.43.

Rochester is just slightly above the national average, up one cent from last week at $2.35. Buffalo’s average is up a penny at $2.40 and Syracuse is up three cents at $2.31.
