ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Americans announced on dTuesay that positions are still available for local businesses and job seekers looking to participate in the Downtown Career Fair on Friday, April 7 at the Blue Cross Arena. The Amerks have partnered with Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Entercom Rochester and WROC-TV News 8 to host the event from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m.
The Downtown Career Fair provides a unique opportunity for local job seekers to connect with over 50 Rochester-area businesses that are currently hiring. The event will be followed by a 7:05 pm game between the Amerks and Hershey Bears.
Job seeker registration for the event is free and includes one ticket voucher to the Amerks game that night and the opportunity to network with growing companies that have immediate job openings. Job seekers must register in advance to attend the free event by visiting WWW.AMERKS.COM/JOBSEEKER.
Businesses can reserve their spot at the Downtown Career Fair for $300 ($150 for 501c-3 non-profit organizations) by visiting WWW.AMERKS.COM/CAREERFAIR. The cost includes one table, two free parking spots for the day in the Civic Center Garage, 20 tickets to the Amerks game to follow and complimentary refreshments and snacks. Greater Rochester Chamber members can purchase their booth space for $250.
