The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate the driver of a gray pickup truck, who struck a 15-year-old girl on State Street in Sodus, then drove off.
The girl was struck Monday evening as she was crossing the road at State and Alling Drive. Deputies say the driver opened his window and spoke to the girl before driving off. The victim suffered multiple injuries, and walked about a quarter-of-a-mile to a nearby restaurant to get help. She’s being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.
