Shots were fired into two different Rochester homes late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Nobody was hurt.
Police say the first house was on Finch Street and they were alerted by the ShotSpotter system. They arrived to find the occupants, including a 5-year-old child, were unhurt.
The second incident was just after midnight on Hawley Street. There were eight people in that house, including four young children. Again, nobody was injured.
Police continue to investigate both incidents.
