Three Children, ages 8,6 and 2, were narrowly missed by gunfire that penetrated the wall of their bedroom late Monday night.
Rochester police say they were called to Melville Street for a reported fight. At the same time, the city’s Shot Spotter system went off indicating gunfire in that area. Police arrived to find a house had been hit by gunfire, with the bullets penetrating the walls and entering the children’s bedroom.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
Police closed off the area for about an hour as they investigated, but have no suspects in custody so far,
