Rochester Police were called to the Phillis Wheatley Library in Rochester Thursday evening for a report of shots being fired.
They found one of the library windows damaged by a bullet and bullets also hit a house at 27 Lundsford Lane, but nobody was injured.
Police continue to investigate.
