Rochester police say a shot was fired through the ceiling of an apartment on Ambrose Street overnight, leading to the arrest of two people.
Police met with the apartment owner and confirmed the shot had been fired from the upstairs apartment and had gone through the floor and the ceiling of the downstairs apartment. They established a perimeter around the home and eventually the upstairs residents agreed to come out and be taken into custody.
Police were seeking a search warrant for the apartment.
