Two people were shot and another was stabbed in two separate incidents on Rochester’s west side early Sunday morning.
Police say two men were found shot at 395 Hague Street. One was 23 and the other 16; both had been hit in the lower body and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Police are still working out the details that led up to the shooting and have no suspects yet. But they do have a possible suspect in custody in the second incident, a stabbing at 116 Emerson Street.
Lake Section officers found a 38-year-old city woman who had been stabbed in the upper body. She was in stable condition after surgery at Strong.
Arriving officers detained a 37-year-old man and were questioning him.
