Rochester police were kept busy overnight with separate stabbing and shooting incidents.
They were called about 1:30 a.m. to Scio Street for a report of a person stabbed. They found a 34 year old city an who had been stabbed in the upper body. He’s recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital.
About half-an-hour later, they were called to Portland Avenue for a report of gunshots. They arrived to find a car that had been hit by gunfire. They learned a 38-year-old man had been brought by friends to Rochester General Hospital after being shot in the upper body. He’s expected to recover.
Nobody has been arrested yet for either crime.
